Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at sortes.fun (the “Site”), any subdomains, and any content, features, or services made available through the Site (collectively, the “Interface”).
The Interface may provide access to, or enable interaction with, decentralized smart contracts and related protocol functionality (the “Protocol”). The Interface is distinct from the Protocol. The Protocol may be deployed on one or more blockchain networks and may be used through various third‑party interfaces.
By accessing or using the Interface, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Interface.

Email: contact@sortes.fun
Address: [Operator Address]
Jurisdiction of incorporation/registration: [Jurisdiction]
2) Important Notices
2.1 Non‑custodial interface
The Interface is designed as a non‑custodial access point. We do not custody user funds, do not hold or control private keys, and do not control user wallets. You control your wallet and the transactions you submit.
2.2 On‑chain execution; irreversibility
Transactions you submit through your wallet may execute on‑chain according to smart contract logic. Blockchain transactions are often irreversible, and we generally cannot reverse, cancel, or modify them.
2.3 Probability‑based activities may be regulated
The Protocol and/or third‑party implementations may enable or facilitate probability‑based activities (e.g., lotteries, drawings, games of chance, random‑reward mechanics). Laws differ substantially across jurisdictions, including differing classifications between “lottery” and “gambling.” You are responsible for ensuring that your access and participation is lawful where you are located.
2.4 Third‑party control and responsibility
The Interface may display or link to third‑party services, including wallets, DEXs, bridges, analytics providers, and third‑party “nodes” or “operators.” We do not control third parties and are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
3) Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
“Digital Assets” means cryptographic tokens, stablecoins, wrapped assets, and similar blockchain-based assets.
“Probability‑Based Activities” means any lottery, gambling, betting, game of chance, sweepstakes, raffle, drawing, random‑reward mechanic, or similar activity where outcomes or rewards depend in whole or in part on chance, randomness, or probabilistic distribution (including activities framed as “charity,” “welfare,” or “public good”).
“Restricted Jurisdiction(s)” has the meaning set forth in Section 6.
“Node Operator” means any third party that integrates with or uses the Protocol to configure, promote, offer, sell, distribute, or operate Probability‑Based Activities or related products/services via its own website, application, or distribution channel (a “Node Interface”).
4) Eligibility; Age; Authority
You may use the Interface only if:
you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher);
you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms; and
your access and use of the Interface (and any Probability‑Based Activities) is lawful in your jurisdiction.
If you use the Interface on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
5) The Interface; Wallets; On‑Chain Transactions
5.1 Wallets
To use certain features, you must connect a compatible third‑party wallet. Your wallet provider’s terms apply to you, and you are responsible for securing your wallet, recovery phrases, and private keys.
5.2 Transaction prompts; user control
The Interface may provide transaction prompts or information to assist your interaction with the Protocol. You decide whether to submit any transaction. Do not submit transactions you do not understand.
5.3 Networks and third‑party protocols
We do not control any blockchain network, validator set, sequencer, bridge, DEX, oracle, RPC provider, or other third‑party infrastructure. Network congestion, forks, reorgs, MEV, or third‑party outages may cause delays or losses.
5.4 Fees
You are solely responsible for all fees, including network gas fees, bridge fees, wallet fees, and any third‑party fees.
6) Restricted Jurisdictions; Sanctions; No Circumvention
6.1 Restricted Jurisdictions
You may not access or use the Interface if you are located in, resident in, or otherwise subject to the laws of any jurisdiction where (a) access to or participation in Probability‑Based Activities is prohibited or restricted, or (b) such activities (or the facilitation of them) require licensing, registration, approval, or other authorization that has not been obtained.
Without limitation, we currently treat the following as Restricted Jurisdictions for the Interface:
the United States and its territories/possessions;
the United Kingdom;
the European Union / European Economic Area (EU/EEA);
Australia;
Singapore;
Japan; and
Mainland China (PRC).
This list is non‑exhaustive and may be updated at any time.
6.2 Sanctions and prohibited persons
You may not use the Interface if you are (a) subject to economic or trade sanctions, (b) located in a comprehensively sanctioned/embargoed jurisdiction, or (c) acting on behalf of any sanctioned person.
6.3 No circumvention
You agree not to use VPNs, proxies, location spoofing, or other methods to circumvent geographic, compliance, sanctions, or access restrictions.
6.4 Screening and enforcement
We may implement geofencing, screening, and other controls (including IP and device signals) and may block or restrict access at any time without notice.
7) Node Operators; Third‑Party Offerings
7.1 Node Operators are independent
Node Operators operate independently. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any Node Operator, Node Interface, or third‑party offering.
7.2 Node Operator compliance obligations
If you are a Node Operator (or if you create, promote, sell, distribute, or operate any Probability‑Based Activity), you are solely responsible for legal and regulatory compliance in every jurisdiction you target or where your users are located, including (as applicable) licensing/registration, advertising and consumer disclosures, age gating, AML/sanctions compliance, and taxes.
7.3 Additional terms may apply
Node Operators may be subject to separate terms, including “Node Operator (Sales Node) Terms,” if published or provided by us. In case of conflict, those Node Operator terms control for Node Operator activities.
8) No Advice; No Fiduciary Relationship
The Interface and any content are provided for informational purposes only. Nothing on the Interface constitutes legal, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice.
We are not your broker, intermediary, agent, fiduciary, or advisor. You are solely responsible for determining whether any activity is lawful and appropriate for you.
9) Risks; Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and accept all risks of using the Interface and interacting with the Protocol and Digital Assets, including but not limited to:
Smart contract risk (bugs, exploits, oracle failures, randomness failures, economic attacks);
Blockchain risk (congestion, reorgs, sequencer downtime, MEV, network forks);
Market risk (volatility, depegging, liquidity, slippage);
Third‑party risk (wallets, DEXs, bridges, RPC providers, Node Operators);
Regulatory risk (classification as lottery/gambling/regulated activity, changes in law or enforcement);
Loss of funds (including total loss), delays, or inability to withdraw due to protocol conditions or network events.
You understand that Probability‑Based Activities involve chance and may result in loss. You participate at your own risk.
10) Acceptable Use; Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
violate any applicable law or regulation (including lottery/gambling laws, sanctions laws, or consumer protection laws);
use the Interface to facilitate fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or deception;
interfere with or disrupt the Interface or networks (including introducing malware, harmful scraping, or exploiting vulnerabilities);
attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
misrepresent affiliation with us or the Protocol; or
use the Interface in any manner that could reasonably be expected to create legal, regulatory, security, or reputational risk.
11) Intellectual Property
The Interface, including its text, graphics, UI, and code (excluding open‑source components and third‑party content), is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Interface for your personal or internal business use in accordance with these Terms.
12) Third‑Party Services; Links
The Interface may integrate or link to third‑party services (wallets, DEXs, analytics, bridges, Node Interfaces). We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party services. Your use of third‑party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
